USING GOOGLE FORMS TO CARRY OUT A NEEDS SURVEY

INTRODUCTION

When you want to establish a business, you presumably have a product to sell or a service to provide in mind. It will be crucial to determine whether or not people will be interested in your product or service. The typical method is to poll as many individuals as possible.

Another option is to create a short questionnaire to get information about people's interest in your product or service. You'd then need to retrieve the questionnaires, enter them into software, analyze them, and then generate graphs and tables to help you conclude.

Google Forms is a more efficient and user-friendly option. This article provides a straightforward procedure for accomplishing this.

For the examples in the article, a phone is used.

1. Go to Google

  • Check that you are signed in to Google.
  • This is what your screen should look like:

NB: You can get to the site directly by typing in the address: www.forms.google.com

2. Enter: Google Forms

  • The screen should look like this:

3. Select: Google forms: free online surveys

  • The screen should appear like this or similar:

4. Click on "Go to google forms" or simply "forms".

  • Your Screen should look like this:

  • At this point, you have your blank questionnaire template.
  • In this example, we will ask three questions.

5. First, rename "UNTITLED FORM" to the name of your questionnaire or planned business.

  • Here's an example following the name change.

 6. After that, begin typing your questions.

  • Click on UNTITLED QUESTION and start typing your question.
  • It should look something like this:

  • Take note that it will provide you suggestions for responses: thus select "Add all"
  • You can remove the maybe option later by clicking the "X" button by it.

7. Then you move on to the next question...

  • Click on the TT icon at the bottom to ask your next question.

  • Alternatively, you can click the + button circled at the bottom.

8. You may ask as many questions as you like using the same procedure.

9. You are now ready to send it out to be filled.

  • You will accomplish this by utilizing a link.
  • Next click on the SEND ICON as shown

  • It will take you to the following location:

10. Click the link icon, then select "shorten URL."

11. then select copy...as displayed

12. You may now share the link with your respondents or others you want to fill out the questionnaire. It is simpler and faster to paste the link into a Whatsapp or Telegram group.

13. You'd see that as people submit, the data just flow in and are examined in real-time.

15. To view your responses, navigate from QUESTIONS TO RESPONSES.

 14. This is how it should look:

16. You may proceed to make conclusions, or if you require the data for a report, you may copy your questions and graphs and paste them into Microsoft Word.

CONCLUSION

You may also choose to export the data into MS Excel for further analysis.

On a PC, the procedure is identical; however, the buttons should show on the right rather than at the bottom.

CREATING ONLINE QUESTIONNAIRES USING GOOGLE FORMS

Introduction Google forms can be used for a variety of purposes. In a recent blog, I demonstrated how to utilize Google Forms to create simple survey questions. In this article, I'll show you how to utilize Google Forms to create and distribute research questionnaires. The post would also go on to demonstrate how to export the data into Microsoft Excel.  Getting Started To get started, you must first develop and finalize your questionnaire. It is not a good idea to write your questions directly into Google Forms—it increases error.           This tutorial would make use of a PC. It is preferable to perform such exercises on a computer rather than a phone.  1. Go to www.forms.google.com  Your interface should look like this.    2. As seen above, click "start new form." This should take you to the following page:    3. Click on one of the "untitled forms" placeholders, clear the text, and type or copy and paste ...

AGAINST THE ODDS: EPISODE 7 – A FAMILIAR PLACE

“Elorm! Elorm!! What is happening to you?" The voice resonated loudly.       By this time, both youngsters had recognized the voice of the mystery individual behind the door; it was the Reverend Amenuveve, and they realized they were in serious trouble. Nonetheless, Elorm instinctively raced to open the door. Her father dashed in, nearly collapsing owing to an apparent quick spike in his blood sugar level and blood pressure brought on by the sight before him.       In their haste, shock, and fear, both youths had forgotten to dress up. What Reverend Amenuveve witnessed may have easily led the elderly man to his grave.  “Whaaat!!! What is happening, Elorm?" His voice shook as he screamed.  Elorm, anticipating danger, chose to assume the role of the victim.       “Daaaddiiiii! Daaaaaaddiiii", she cried frantically. "He attempted to rape me, and I fought back!" She managed to say while clutching her father with he...
